Glass:By Maker:Fenton

This little purple slag basket stands approximately six inches tall at the handle. It bears the Fenton in an oval, with the number eight, as the mark. You may see this piece on page 234 of John Walk's book, Fenton Glass Compendium 1970-1985. This basket is free of any chips or cracks.

This Handpainted Fenton Egg was signed by the artist A. Farley. The glass is a pale pink with an iridized finish. The pattern is a blue flower. It has an older Fenton paper label on the bottom. The impressed Fenton Logo includes the number 8, indicating it was produced in the 1980's. It is free of any damage.

This piece of original Fenton glass was the first line of hand painted art glass produced by the factory. Louis Piper was the artist who developed and painted this line. The purple violets against the snow white milk glass remains one of the most popular of all Fenton's artistry. This is the low compote, produced in 1968-1969, and then again from 1910-1977. This blown glass purse was made by Fenton Art Glass's top artist, David Fetty. It was a limited edition, and this is # 51/1500. The number is etched in the bottom. This comes to you in the original box with the original tags. This is a large piece, measuring 5 1/2 inches tall, and 6 inches wide. The color is Celeste Blue, and the pattern is a pulled feather design. Each one was made by hand by the artist, and individual variations are normal.
