This is an old finger rosary, with 3 'decades' of 5 beads each. The medallion is marked 'Japan' and has the prayer, "St Ann Pray for Us." The beads are a lovely blue glass.

This tiny blue enamel medallion would have been a memento of a religious pilgrimidge to one of the great shrines in Europe. It would have been added to one's rosary on the occasion of a visit to the Lourdes. The background metal is silver, and the images are of the Virgin Mother Mary, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
