This is a great desk chair; it is made of solid quarter sawn oak. It had nice deep pressed carvings in the back and lower back support. We totally restored this chair and it is finished in a rich provincial color tone. The new fiber seat is custom stained to match the chair finish. The chair is completely original and has all of the lower tensioning and height adjusting hardware. The seat is 21”w x 19” d. The chair stands 42” t from the floor to the top of the back. This style of chair did not come with castors or rollers when made. I would not recommend adding castors, as this would effect the stability of the design.
