This table came from the old library at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. The table is extremely well made, the top is covered with a black writing surface. I do not know what the material is but it is original and very durable. There are some scratches and distress marks on the top but that is to be expected with age. The table is made of wide grain quartersawn oak. It is 42" wide x 90" long.
