an auld woman, facing right, by W. Phelps, ca 1786. She wearing a bonnet tied under her chin and a brown shawl over a green dress. Painted on plaster with the face in black and the costume in colour and set in an oval hammered brass frame. 3 7/8" (w) x 4 5/8 " (h). The silhouette is 2 3/4" (w) x 3 1/2" (h).
