a Gentleman facing left his powdered hair enque, English School, ca 1800. He wearing a frilly shirt. A watercolour on card. Set in a black papier mache frame 5 1/2" (w) x 6 1/4" (h). The silhouette is 3 " (w) x 3 3/4" (h).

The hanger is engraved with the word 'Museum' which was used on frames of silhouettes taken by artists working for William Bullock at his museum in Liverpool.
