Rare 19th Century American Oyster Plate

Early American oyster plates are a very rare find. This one is especially nice with the cobalt ground and hand painted gold accents. Made by New England Pottery Co. for Mermod & Jaccard Jewelry of St. Louis and dates to 1888. The Rieti in a Shell mark and also a Mermod & Jaccard Jewelry of St. Louis mark are on the reverse. No damage or repair to report.
