Hi and Welcome to our expanding shop! The German stein we have is very detailed for it's small size. Appears to have had a lid at one time since there is a hole in the upper handle. What I really like is the cobalt blue background surrounding the mug. The men seem to be having a good time with the bar maid while she's cleaning/shaping one fellows hat back into shape. A woman's work is never done...ummm. The condition of the stein is very good with the usual crazing a period piece may have but there are no cracks or dings to stein with the colors still bright without color loss. Hallmarked with Germany in an oval and the number 16 , 1/4 and a 5. The stein is 5 1/4" tall and 2 1/4" wide at the opening.
