Vintage Morgan Silver Dollar Bolo Tie

The centerpiece of this Bolo Tie is a Morgan silver dollar, edged in sterling braid and backed with a sterling plaque. The dollar is 900/1000 (coin) silver. With the mount, it is just under 1 3/4". The tips teat as sterling and are hand made and seamed. The melon balls at the bottom would have been hammered into a mold in two halves and joined together. The tie is braided leather and hangs at 20" Unmarked. 1950s.
