Whiting and Davis Deco Striped Purse, Poiret Shape

Excellent Whiting and Davis purse with diagonal slashes of decorated bands. Signed in the frame and on a cloth tag, making it later than the purses designed by Poiret for W&D. A little wear to the enamel, but in such a complex pattern, it is hard to see. Intact fringe. All rings attached. Fully lined in gold satin, small pocket. A couple of smudges to the lining. Light scratches to the gold tone frame, but beautiful over all. 7" tall, 7" wide at the bottom of the pouch. 10" chain from side to side. Kiss clasp, tight frame.
