Gorgeous Swoboda Peacock Brooch with Lapis and Citrine

Swoboda is a designer of fine pieces using semi-precious stones in gold plated settings. As in this brooch, and the dragonfly in Miller's book, he leaves the stones a bit rough. They are not mistaken for glass or plastic. The business was founded in Los Angeles in 1956 and he is only recently being listed in books as collectable. Two inches by an inch and a half, strong safety clasp, excellent condition, all stones present. Signed Swoboda.
