Here is a pretty vintage wall pocket planter with its colorful Love Birds sweetly perched with their heads together on the side of a white pottery base that is made to resemble a brown basket or nest, and a green leaf on its front. Each bird has a white body with markings on its back of green, blue, and a deep rose colored feathers. In excellent overall condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Bottom is unglazed. Planter measures 6-3/4" tall and 4-1/4" wide in front. Base is 3" deep and 3" high. Piece is unmarked; looks like 1940-50's style to me. This is a sweet vintage planter and would be so attractive planted with a trailing plant like ivy!
