Antique Cake Plate Pierced Handles ~ Camellias

Here is a beautiful antique pierced handle cake plate with a colorful design of camellias done in shades of pinks, purples, green, and white against a white porcelain background with gold embellishments. The scalloped edge of this pretty piece has a raised lined design and an embossed scroll design around its upturned sides. This estate piece is unmarked as to maker - probably made in Germany - and is in near mint condition with one manufacturing cut on its edge. It isn't a crack, but a cut done when this plate was made (see photos). It measures 9-1/4" diameter and has heart-shaped cut out / pierced handles on each side. A real beauty and quite a treasure!
