This set of Chef Salt & Pepper Shakers depict a pair of handsome red-haired fellows, each with a black mustache and happy facial expressions and round black eyes with raised black eyebrows. These are made of white glazed ceramic, cold-painted in shades of green with red accents. This unique set is from a friend's great grandmother's S&P collection and, even though they aren't marked, I'm sure are very old. Each has his hands resting on his belly and appears to be wearing an apron, red painted arm bands, and a red dotted scarf tied in the back. In very good vintage condition with minimal loss to cold paint and no cracks or chips. Each measures 5-7/8" tall by 2-3/4" wide. A wonderful set for your collection!
