This pair of brown Whiskey Jugs Salt & Pepper Shakers are made of red clay pottery with nice brown glaze on the body of each jug, and unglazed pottery on the shoulders. Bright yellow, molded corn cob shaped stoppers with a cork on the end fits down into each jug. Each jug has 3 "X's" in white on the front which signifies whiskey, and a small thumb-loop handle. Red and gold foil label on the bottom of each reads, "Lugene's Japan". Both are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Each measures 4-1/8" tall and about 2" wide. Would be a neat additions to your collection ~ Looks just like an old-fashioned "Little Brown Jug" !
