SALE Amerline 1950's Individual Service Salt & Pepper Shakers - In Original Box

This boxed set of 8 individual vintage plastic mini salt & pepper shakers were made in the 1950's by Amerline, Inc. in Chicago. (They also made hard plastic toys that are very collectible now!) These are a creamy ivory color that resembles celluloid. Each shaker is only 1-1/4" tall and has a vertical ribbed design around the sides, with a smooth base and cap. There are 4 sets marked "S" and 4 sets marked "P" accordingly. Tops screw off and on for filling, and each is marked "Amerline Chicago". Still in original box which measures 5-1/2" long by 4-3/8" wide. Interior of box has a a blue cardboard inset with a place punched to hold each shaker. All shakers are in excellent condition, however, 3 have lids that do not fit tightly when screwed on. What a neat set this is ~ Great additions to your S&P collection!
