Here's a nice dated jar for your Planters Peanuts collection. It was made to commemorate their 75th Anniversary (1906 - 1981) and is made of clear glass. On two of its sides it is marked with the classic "Mr. Peanut" character and the Planters Peanuts logo along with the words, “Planters 75th Anniversary”. The bottom is marked with Mr. Peanut, the year "1981" and the number "24". It's rounded top snaps on and has a clear plastic ring to ensure a tight seal. On the end of the top is another Mr. Peanut and their beginning year of operation 1906, a series of dots in a circle, and 1981, which was the current year it was made. Nice size and shouldered shape! It measures 6-1/2" tall with a 3" opening. The rounded top adds another 1-1/2" to its overall height. Great kitchenware storage item! Perfect condition too!
