The name of my shop, "Romancing The Past", came to mind from personal experience! As a child, our family's home was filled with antiques and vintage collectibles. My love for vintage items came naturally along with a keen interest in history and an overall curiosity about everyday life in the past. Some of my fondest memories are of "antiquing trips" to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina with my Mom, grandparents, aunts, and cousins. I sometimes spent my allowance on tiny antique treasures ~ even then! Over the years, my collections have grown and I've "dabbled" in antiques and collectibles off-and-on forever!

I have lots of 20-s-30's-40's-50's-60's-70's-80's Glass, Jewelry, Pottery, Fine China, Porcelain, Silver, Games, Rare Books, Periodicals, Vintage Clothing & Accessories, Kitchenware, Linens, Barware, Postcards, Cookbooks, Baskets, Quilts, Sheet Music, Vinyl LP's, Tins , Metalware, Small Antiques, Milkglass, Sterling Silver, Unique "Retro" Items, Many Dinnerware Patterns, Vanity Items, Ephemera, Primitives, . . . . whatever I'm able to find at estate sales and antiques auctions. Much to choose from and many unexpected finds!
