This is a lovely, and unusual Georgian (1820) memorial (mourning) ring. It is in the shape of an urn with flowers. The urn and flowers consist of twenty-seven rose cut diamonds, set in silver as they would have been at that time, with a gold back. The ring is a lady's 6 and 1/2, and is in excellent condition. The urn is curved to fit the finger as was the style of the best rings. The back is closed and the stones, foiled naturally, really sparkle. The top of the ring measures 6/8 of an inch, North to South, and 1/2 of an inch, East to West.
