This is a very unusual Stuart Crystal piece, because it is a pendant, and I can't see any evidence that it was ever anything but a pendant. Most of the Stuart Crystal pieces this early are slides. This one has the beautiful, "basket back" and is in a high carat gold, though I'm not sure of the weight. The scribe appears to be "B' or F". This piece measures a little over 3/4 of an inch, counting bale, North to South, and a little over 1/2 inch East to West. This is such an unusual piece, and one that is very historically significant. This piece is lovely , and the crystal and the gold are in excellent condition.
