This is a wonderful bracelet. The more one looks at the craftsmanship of this piece with a loupe, the better it looks. It is crafted of 18 k gold, and it is circa 1850. The links are called "Brazilian links," though I'm not sure why. The bracelet has a repose slide like piece in the center (though it does not move), and remarkably, one for the clasp, which is longer, and is actually more beautiful than the one on the front. The bracelet measures 7 and 1/2 inches long. It is such a versatile and unique piece. It would look great with jeans, or a business suit. It can be dressed up or down, but is a piece of classic elegance.
