This is a wonderful, crystal heart pendant, with a piece of moss agate inside. It is circa 1770, and has white enamel with the words "Gage D'Amitie," which, roughly translated, means Pledge of Friendship. The enamel is in very good condition, and it also has the quiver with arrows. The pear shaped "heart" opens, and one could place a lock of a loved ones hair inside, if they wanted. The piece measures 1 and 1/4 inch North to South, and 3/4 of an inch East to West, and it is crafted of gold, though I am not sure of the weight. Please forgive the adhesive residue on the back; I did not see it until I saw the photo.
