I always buy these great rings when I see them, which is not often. This one has the double almondine garnet hearts, with the crown. It is in excellent condition, which is amazing as it is circa 1800! The stones are closed backed and foiled, as they always were then, and the ring is a size 8. It could be sized by a jeweler used to working on antique pieces. This is a museum quality piece which can certainly be worn, but not for gardening, bathing, or dishwashing! The decorated top of the ring measures 3/8 of an inch East to West, and about the same North to South. This one is a real beauty!
