This is a lovely, silver, cigarette case. The band to hold the cigarettes is still in place, and the piece is in excellent condition. It could be used as a business card case. though today's cards would have to be cut a bit shorter. The piece measures 3 and 1/4 inches East to West, and nearly two inches North to South. It is lined in a gold wash, and the hallmarks, clear and legible, declare the piece to be British Sterling Silver, made in Birmingham in 1928 by the makers "BB and SLP.: There are no dents or marks on the piece; please excuse the shadows on the photo.
