Amethyst and Pearl Earrings, Early Victorian

$1,200 USDAmethyst and Pearl Earrings, Early Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Amethyst And Pearl Earrings, Early Victorian
These beautiful gold earrings, fashioned from 9 ct or better yellow gold, are circa 1840. They contain two small amethysts, and one , larger teardrop shaped amethyst, and these lovely stones are complimented with natural pearls.I love the dainty shape of these earrings, and the size is great--not too over the top, but pretty and feminine. The earrings measure 1 and 1/2 inches North to South, and 1/2 inch East to West. They are in excellent condition.
9 ct Earrings, Victorian

$1,200 USD9 ct Earrings, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:9 Ct Earrings, Victorian
These are beautiful 9ct gold earrings, circa 1880. What i like most about them is that they are so versatile; they can be worn with jeans, or a dressy suit. They measure 2 inches long, and 1/2 inch wide. They are in excellent condition.
15 Carat Watch Key, Dog, Fidelity, Victorian

$425 USD15 Carat Watch Key, Dog, Fidelity, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:15 K Watch Key With Dog
This is a wonderful watch key, featuring an intaglio in agate, of a dog that appears to be some sort of a retriever, and I could not get the letters exactly , but I am certain it is a form of Fidelity. The watch key measures 1 and 3/4 inches North to South, and 1/2 inch East to West. It is circa 1860.
Cut Steel Necklace, Victorian

$375 USDCut Steel Necklace, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Cut Steel Necklace, Victorian
This is a very nice, Victorian, cut steel choker style necklace. I must say, I've never seen anything quite like it. It is glittery, and not rusty, and of course, it must not be gotten wet to keep it in this same good condition. The necklace measures 17 inches long, is in excellent condition, and the part with the dangles measures 1 inch wide. This is a wonderful piece, worthy of any cut steel collection. It is circa 1850.
Ring, Aquamarine and rose diamonds,Victorian

$1,800 USDRing, Aquamarine and rose diamonds,Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Ring, Aquamarine And Rose Cut Diamonds
This is a striking circa 1860's ring. It consists of an aquamarine, surrounded by rose diamonds, set in an 18 carat yellow gold setting. The diamonds are closed backed and set in silver. The ring is a size 7 with the top up on the sizer, but when I turn it around with the back on the top of the sizer, it is a 7 and 1/2. It could be sized. The decorated top of the ring measures 1/4 of an inch East to West, and a little over 1/4 of an inch North to South. This doesn't count the "shoulders" which ...
Pendant, 9 K, Verre Eglomise, Double Heart and Crown, Seed Pearls, Victorian

$1,600 USDPendant, 9 K, Verre Eglomise, Double Heart and Crown, Seed Pearls, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Pendant, 9 K, Verre Eglomise, Double Heart And Crown
This is a lovely pendant (chain sold separately) which I believe to be a Victorian copy of a Georgian theme. The bale is marked 9 k, and the piece is circa 1890-1900. The pendant contains an oval of Blue Glass (the french call this verre eglomise), and on top of the glass, is a double heart with crown in pearls. This lovely, sentimental piece measures 2 and 2/4 inches long, and 1 and 1/2 inches wide. The chain shown with the piece is separate, and can be purchased for $500. Please excuse the ...
High Carat Gold, Victorian Dangle Earrings, Victorian

$800 USDHigh Carat Gold, Victorian Dangle Earrings, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:18 Carat Gold, Earrings, Victorian
These are very pretty and very feminine, circa 1880 gold earrings, with a small touch of coral. They have the great, French backs, which hook, and are very secure. The earrings measure 2 inches long, and 5/8 of an inch wide. I tested the gold, thinking these might be 9 carat. The first time I tested them they came out 18 carat, and the 2nd time they came out 22 ct, so suffice it to say they are high carat gold. These earrings are very versatile.
Amethyst Seal/Pendant/Basket, Early Victorian

$925 USDAmethyst Seal/Pendant/Basket, Early Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Gold Basket Seal Pendant, Amethyst, Garnet, Turquoise, Early Victorian
What a wonderful seal, for want of a better word, this is! We have a basket, with beautiful cannetille gold work, tested 12 k , and set with turquoise and garnets. On the bottom of the basket, is the foiled amethyst. The top of the basket handle has a bale, so the piece can be worn on a chain. This is all amazing enough, but when one opens the basket, one finds a glass bezel under which is human hair work. This piece is circa 1840, and very typical of the beautiful gold work done then The basket ...
Amethyst Stomacher, Early Victorian, 14 Carat

$1,500 USDAmethyst Stomacher, Early Victorian, 14 Carat

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Amethyst Stomacher, 14 Carat, Early Victorian
This is a very nice, circa 1840, Amethyst Stomacher. It tested 14 carat yellow gold, and it is quite an impressive piece. The top part contains five, nice sized, foiled, amethysts. The bottom dangle contains one, large, pear shaped amethyst. The piece is in excellent condition, and seems all original except for the safety chain, which he person from whom I bought this stomacher added. This stomacher measures 3 and 3/4 inches North to South, and 2 and 1/4 inches East to West. This is a versatile ...
Hair Bracelet, 18 K Clasp, Scottish, Early Victorian

$2,175 USDHair Bracelet, 18 K Clasp, Scottish, Early Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Hair Bracelet With 18 K Clasp With Scottish Stones
As a rule, I don't care for the wide hair bracelets that were popular during the mid-Victorian period, but I fell in love with this one when I first saw it. It's so unusual, because most Scottish jewelry is silver, and I have never personally seen a Scottish bracelet with woven hair (as opposed to hair under glass), and this one is such a fine piece, and is in mint condition. I think it has been folded in a jewelry box all its life. The hair pattern is intricate, and there isn't a hair misplaced ...
Heart Shaped Locket With Diamond, 9 ct, Victorian

$275 USDHeart Shaped Locket With Diamond, 9 ct, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:9 Ct Gold Heart Shaped Locked With Diamond
Here is another beautiful heart shaped locket. This one is 9 ct. gold (back and front and marked on the back). It has a single rose cut diamond in the center. it measures , including the bale, 1 inch and 1/4 North to South, and 7/8 of an inch East to West. It opens, and two pictures could be placed inside, though there is no glass covering over the opening. The catch is secure, and this circa 1890 piece is in excellent condition with no dings. It's ready for a photo of your loved ones.
10 Carat Victorian Chain, 15 inch

$270 USD10 Carat Victorian Chain, 15 inch

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:10 Carat Chain, 15 Inches
This is a very nice, mid weight, Victorian chain in the style which I would call a "box" chain. Again, I was told it was 9 carat, but it has tested 10 carat. It is 15 inches long, which is a length I really like because, often, a pendant can be worn with a chain this length with an open necked blouse, and still be seen. The chain, circa 1900, is in excellent condition.
Diamond Ring, Old Cut, 18k, Early Victorian

$850 USDDiamond Ring, Old Cut, 18k, Early Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Diamond Ring, Old Cut Solitaire
This is a beautiful, circa 1840, old cut, diamond solitaire. It has been tested 18 carat gold, and it is a size 6 and 3/4, though it could be resized. It is in excellent condition. The stone itself measures over 1/8 of an inch North to South, and 1/4 of an inch, East to West. This is a very nice early ring with a lovely shank. It could be used for any occasion. It would also make a wonderful engagement ring.
Scottish Pebble Bracelet, Silver and Agate, Heart Shaped Padlock, Victorian

$795 USDScottish Pebble Bracelet, Silver and Agate, Heart Shaped Padlock, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Scottish Bracelet, Silver Heart Padlock, Agate And Banded Agate
This is one of the nicest Scottish bracelets I have seen, due in large part, I think, to the heart shaped padlock. We have 7 large agates, set in sterling silver, and then the beautiful heart shaped padlock, with beautiful agate on one side, and silver repousse on the other. The bracelet measures 6 and 3/4 inches long and 1 inch wide. It is in excellent condition, and circa 1870.
Scottish Earrings, Victorian, Silver and Agate

$500 USDScottish Earrings, Victorian, Silver and Agate

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Scottish Earrings, Silver And Agate, Victorian
I've had these beautiful Scottish Earrings, circa 1870, in my own jewelry box for some time. I have never worn them because I don't wear much silver, and have now purchased another pair, so I am selling these. There are a lot of reproduction Scottish Earrings out there now, but I these are Victorian. They are Sterling silver, unmarked, but tested, and in excellent condition. They measure a little under 1 and 1/2 inches North to South, and 1/2 inch East to West. These earrings are very nice and ...
Garnet and Diamond Bracelet, 15 ct, Victorian

$1,500 USDGarnet and Diamond Bracelet, 15 ct, Victorian

This is a very pretty, feminine bracelet which consists of 7 15 ct yellow gold bars, connected with a flower of 4 garnets with a rose cut diamond in the center. The bracelet contains 6 garnet flowers. The bracelet measures 7 and 1/4 inches long, and it is in excellent condition. The bracelet is circa 1899-1900.
Ivory Face Pendant

$225 USDIvory Face Pendant

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Carved Ivory Face Pendant
This is an interesting piece. it's a carved ivory pendant--a face. It is in excellent condition, and circa 1890-1900. There is a bale from which to hang a chain, and the piece measures 1 and 3/4 of an inch long, and about 1 inch wide, though that's not entirely accurate because the piece is curved.
Moonstone and Diamond Heart Ring, Victorian

$1,800 USDMoonstone and Diamond Heart Ring, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Heart Shaped Moonstone Ring With Rose Cut Diamond Surround, Victorian
This is a lovely. ring, which features a cabochon moonstone , shaped as a heart, with a diamond surround. I bought it in December if 2004, and have kept it for myself. Alas, I have just been offered another ring I love, and I can't afford to keep both, so am reluctantly offering the moonstone for sale. It is circa 1870, but has the lovely, decorated back of a Georgian ring. It is gold, most likely 18k, but I'm not sure of the weight. There is a lovely rose cut diamond surround, and the ring is ...
Victorian Bangle Bracelet

$175 USDVictorian Bangle Bracelet

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Bangle Bracelet
This is a very nice Victorian bangle bracelet. it is beautifully chased on the top. I haven't tested it, so I am selling it for gold filled, though the top may be gold, as there are no worn places on the face of the bangle, Someone has had a safely chain added at a later date. The bracelet is oval, to fit the wrist, and length wise, the inside of the oval measures 2 and 1/2 inches. This is a bracelet for a normal to small wrist, as I don't believe it would fit a larger one, One of the nicest ...

They measure 1 and 3/4 inches long, and they are in excellent condition. On this trip, I have bought every pair of earrings of this style I have seen, because I can’t keep them in stock. These are so elegant and feminine.

18 ct Regard Pansy Ring, Victorian

$1,500 USD18 ct Regard Pansy Ring, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Regard Pansy Ring, Victorian
This is a lovely pansy ring, which is also a regard ring. It is 18 ct, and circa 1860. The Victorians loved the language of flowers , and often used them symbolically. The symbol of the pansy comes from the French, pense, which means to think or to think of. The gems spell out regard . . ruby, emerald, garnet, amethyst, ruby, and diamond. I've had regard rings before, and I've had a pansy ring, but this is the first time I've had one which combined the two sentiments. The back of the ring is ...

Rose Cut Diamond Ring, Victorian

$1,300 USDRose Cut Diamond Ring, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Rose Cut Diamond Ring, Georgian
Here is a beautiful rose cut diamond ring, circa 1900. It was fashioned at the time when Georgian or Georgian Style items became fashionable again, and many pieces were made copying the Georgian pieces. The ring is silver (platinum wasn't used for jewelry then) with the diamonds set in silver, with a closed back, but the center part is backed in gold. In the center of the ring there is one good sized diamond, and around it are 8 smaller ones. Then, each shoulder of the ring contains two diamonds ...
Emerald and Diamond Ring, Victorian

$600 USDEmerald and Diamond Ring, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Emerald And Diamond Ring, 1901
This one is quite a bargain. It's a beautiful emerald and rose cut diamond ring, fashioned of 18 carat yellow gold (marked) in 1901. The ring is a size 7 and 1/2, but could be sized, and it is in excellent condition. Please forgive the tree shadows in the photo! The hallmarks are present and clearly visible, and declare that this ring is English 18 carat, manufactured in Birmingham, England, in 190l by the maker "W and J.S." The ring contains two emeralds and three diamonds, and the decorated ...
Regard Ring With Pearls, Victorian

$1,450 USDRegard Ring With Pearls, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Regard Ring With Genuine Stones And Natural Pearls, Early Victorian
I love Regard and Dearest Rings, but one has to be very careful because there are many repros out there. This one is very unusual, and I bought it in one of London's finest antique jewelry shops, and I know it is the real thing. It is quite unusual in that the pearls (natural pearls) are more noticeable than the genuine stones which spell out regard--ruby, emerald, garnet, amethyst, ruby, and diamond. These stones are small and nestled in between the two rows of beautiful pearls. The ring is a ...
Enameled Brooch, Scottish, Victorian

$100 USDEnameled Brooch, Scottish, Victorian

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Enameled Brooch, Scottish Victorian
This is a nice silver and gold, enameled brooch. When I looked closely at the center, I realized that there was a thistle and a crown in the gold medallion in the center, so this is a Scottish piece. It is circa 1880, and in excellent condition. It measures almost two inches East to West, and 5/8 of an inch North to South. The back maintains its original clasp, it is crafted of sterling silver, and the medallion in the center is 9 ct gold.

Garnet Earrings, Early Victorian, Cannetille 14 carat

$1,600 USDGarnet Earrings, Early Victorian, Cannetille 14 carat

Jewelry:Antique:Fine:Victorian:Garnet Earrings, 14 Carat, Cannetille Work
These earrings are wonderful! I love the cannetille gold work so typical of the 1840's. These tested 15 ct. The garnets are lovely and I'm not certain the photo, on the black background, does them justice. They are red, but with sort of pinkish highlights, as opposed to the darker highlights of bohemian garnets. They measure 1 and 3/4 inches North to South, and 1/2 inch East to West I was told when bought these that there was a small piece of the gold work missing. Perhaps we will see this in ...
