This is one of the prized memento mori rings--though with skulls and skeleton's, to remind us that "as I am, so shall ye be." This one is quiet unusual, in that, in addition to the wavy band, we have white enamel, signifying the deceased was a virgin. There is a skull under the crystal, and the white enamel, though not perfect, is in very good shape. The ring is a size 8, with a "basket back.' It can't be sized, unless one can get by with a ring guard. The band reads "Eliz Easton ob 7 Oct 1740 ...
