This is a lovely Georgian (circa 1820) rose cut diamond ring. It is fashioned from 18 carat yellow gold, with the diamonds set in silver. Normally rings of this age have a closed back, but this one has been opened. The light really makes the diamonds sparkle. The ring is a size 7, and there is a large center stone, surrounded by 6 smaller ones. The top of the ring measures 1/2 inch East to West, and about the same North to South. It is really a pretty ring, with impressive stones which sparkle.

This is a wonderful, flat cut garnet pendant. It is crafted of 18 Ct yellow gold (tested), and it contains 15 stones. They are closed back, and foiled, as most circa 1800 stones were. The pendant is in excellent condition. It measures, including bale, 2 inches North to South, and 7/8 of an inch East to West. This is a very wearable piece would could be dressed up or down, whichever the occasion demanded.

This is a wonderful, early, circa 1730 ring. I always buy these when I can find them, because I know they will not be available for purchase much longer. There is a flat cut garnet, closed backed and foiled, and it is surrounded by two paste stones, on either side of the garnet. The shoulders of the ring are silver; the shank is yellow gold (14 ct.) The ring is a size 7 and 1/2, and it has the beautiful basket back, so typical of this early period.The ring is in excellent condition.

I was very lucky to find two such fine memorial rings on this shopping spree. They really are not that easy to find in good condition. This one has a foiled amethyst, flanked by a rose cut diamond on either side. The black enamel is in good condition, and it reads "Willm Rendee, ob 10 Oct 1772 AET 71. The ring is a size 8, and it can not be resized. The stones are foiled, and the ring has the lovely, closed, basket back. This one is a bargain!

This Ruby Cross is wonderful. It is circa 1750, and 18 carat. It is in excellent condition, and contains 14 rubies, of various sizes. The stones are closed backed and foiled, and the picture really does not do the piece justice, as I am in England now, in the winter, and it is difficult to get a good picture without flash, as there seems to be little sunlight! Anyway, this is a stunning piece, measuring 2 and 1/4 inches North to South, and 1 and 1/2 inches East to West.

This is a very nice rose cut diamond brooch. The diamonds are set in silver, closed backed, and the piece has been backed in gold. There is a larger diamond in the center, surrounded by 25 other diamonds, if I counted correctly. The back still retains the original "t" hinge and "c" clasp. It measures 1 and 3/4 inches North to South, and 1 and 1/4 inch East to West. This piece is circa 1890, and would be beautiful at the throat of a dress, on a blazer, or on a velvet ribbon, worn around the neck.
