George VI and Elizabeth Coronation Serving Plate, 1937

$85 USDGeorge VI and Elizabeth Coronation Serving Plate, 1937

Collectibles:Historical:Commemorative:George Vi Serving Plate, 1937
This is a nice item, the likes of which I've not seen. It's a dessert serving plate, complete with handle, for George VI and Elizabeth, 1937. Their image and the date is present, with the words, "Long May They Reign." The plate is trimmed in blue, and in perfect condition except for a small chigger bite on the underside of the plate which doesn't show on the front. The piece measures 8 and 1/4 inches in diameter.
Edward Viii Tin, CA 1925

$80 USDEdward Viii Tin, CA 1925

Collectibles:Historical:Edward Viii Tin
This tin has a very nice likeness of Edward Viii,Prince of Wales, CA 1925, decked out in his Scottish regalia. Of course, this was the king who abdicated the throne to marry the twice divorced American, Wallace Simpson. This tin is in very good condition. The bottom, where the flash glare is, says "HM Edward Viii, from a portrait by Bertram Park. This piece measures 7 inches East to West, 5 and 1/2 inches North to South, and 3 and 2/8 inches deep.
George V, Mary, Coronation Cup, 1911

$70 USDGeorge V, Mary, Coronation Cup, 1911

Collectibles:Historical:Commemorative:George V Coronation Cup
This is a nice china coronation cup for the 1911 coronation of George V and Queen Mary. It is unmarked, and unfortunately, has a chip on the rip, which is shown in the photo. That is the only damage, and the piece is dated, and well worth the asking price, I believe. The cup stands 3 and 1/4 inches tall, and is 2 and 7/8 inches in diameter.
Queen Mum, Queen Elizabeth Toasting Fork, 1937

$50 USDQueen Mum, Queen Elizabeth Toasting Fork, 1937

Collectibles:Historical:Commemorative:Queen Mum Elizabeth Toasting Fork, 1937
This is an interesting commemorative which I was told was a "toasting fork." It is brass, and would look nice hanging by a fireplace. This has a nice close up of the Queen Mum, and is dated 1937 when she and her husband were crowned. The piece is 20 inches long, and in excellent condition.
George V and Mary Silver Jubilee Beaker
