Edward VII And Alexandra Mirror Tin, Circa 1902

$300 USDEdward VII And Alexandra Mirror Tin, Circa 1902

Antiques:Commemoratives:Edward Vii:Tin
This is a very nice commemorative tin, and one I've never seen before. It's designed as though it were a trunk, and it has a mirror at center front. It is in excellent condition, and would make a nice addition to any collection. It is large enough, also, to be used for storage. It is 5 inches tall, 8 inches East to West, and 5 inches North to South.
George V and Mary (1911) Spode Decanter

$475 USDGeorge V and Mary (1911) Spode Decanter

Antiques:Commemoratives:George V:Spode Whiskey Decanter, George V And Mary
This is a very nice piece to commemorate the coronation of George V and Queen Mary in 1911. It is a Spode Whiskey decanter. It is in perfect condition, and the top is fashioned in a crown which lifts off. I have seen one or two of these in green, but the blue is more rare, and this is the only one of those I have seen. The decanter measures 10 inches high, and 4 and 1/4 inches at the base. This is a nice, useful, commemorative, and there is no damage to this piece. There are a few white spots in ...
George V, Queen Mary Coronation Tin, 1911

$125 USDGeorge V, Queen Mary Coronation Tin, 1911

Antiques:Commemoratives:George V
This tin is small, but mighty. There are pictures on each side. The King and Queen are pictured on the front, their daughter, Princess Mary, is pictured on one side, the Prince of Wales is pictured on another side, and the Lord Mayor is also featured on a side. The top is dated June 22nd, 1911, and the tin is in very good condition. It measures 4 inches tall, and 4 inches East to West.
Edward VII and Alexandra Coronation Plate, 1902

$150 USDEdward VII and Alexandra Coronation Plate, 1902

Antiques:Commemoratives:Edward Vii:Coronation Plate, 1902
This is an interesting Coronation Plate for Edward VII and Alexandra, because, at the bottom, it says "Fred Day, Mayor." I don't know where he was the mayor, but I guess he ordered these plates. There's no mark on the back of it, but the pictures are very clear. There is a little scratch to the right of the Queen, (actually two), but they are slight and don't detract. The plate is 9 and 1/2 inches in diameter, with no cracks, etc.
Bronze Memorial Bust of Queen Victoria,M. Geflowski, 1901

$2,300 USDBronze Memorial Bust of Queen Victoria,M. Geflowski, 1901

Antiques:Commemoratives:Victoria:Bronze Bust Of Victoria By Mappin Brother, 1901
This is a wonderful tribute to Queen Victoria, and it was commissioned just after her death by Mappin Brothers. The artist is M. Geflowski, and both names are on the back of the base of the bust. She is beautifully crafted in every way, with Victoria RI carved on the base of the front of the piece. The bust itself is about 8 inches tall, and about 8 inches wide at the shoulders. The piece rests on its ebonized wooden stand, so the bust, when on the stand, measures 12 and 1/2 inches tall. What a ...
Queen Victoria, Victory Lozenges Tin, CA 1900

$275 USDQueen Victoria, Victory Lozenges Tin, CA 1900

Antiques:Commemoratives:Victoria:Boer War, Victory Lozenges Tin
This is the Queen Victoria tin, commemorating the Boer War, I suppose, as there are military leaders around the side, and this tin, which held Victory Lozenges, dates from sbout that period. The sides and top are decorated in a lovely basket weave pattern. This tin is in excellent shape for its age. There are a few scratches, but nothing which really detracts. It measures 8 and 1/4 inches East to West, 5 and 1/4 inches North to South, and 4 inches deep. All the words are intact on the inside ...
Edward Vii and Queen Alexandra, Rountree Souvenir Tin

$70 USDEdward Vii and Queen Alexandra, Rountree Souvenir Tin

Antiques:Commemoratives:Edward Vii:Roundtree Tin, 1905
This is a nice and colorful, small tin which measures 3 and 1/8 inchers East to West, and 2 and 1/8 inches North to South. There is a nice picture of Edward and Alexandra, and it says that is a "Souvenir of the visit to Manchester, by the King and Queen. It is dated July, 1905. Overall, the tin is in good condition; there are some scratches in the paint, but nothing which really detracts.
George V and Mary Coronation Tin, 1911

$125 USDGeorge V and Mary Coronation Tin, 1911

Antiques:Commemoratives:George V:Rountree Coronation Tin
This is a very nice Roundtree Sweet Tin for the coronation of George V and Mary, 1911. It's in great condition and as is the case in the older tins, it has lovely sepia pictures all the way around the sides. It sits on little bun feet, and it still even has its paper liner on the inside. This tin measures 6 inches east to west, and 3 and 3/4 inches north to south, and is 1 and 1/4 inches deep.
Victorian Diamond Jubilee Belt Buckle

$90 USDVictorian Diamond Jubilee Belt Buckle

Antiques:Commemoratives:Victoria:Belt Buckle, Diamond Jubilee
This is a very nice Victoria, Diamond Jubilee commemorative. It is a belt buckle, either of brass or metal, in the shape of a horse shoe. It has the image of the queen in the middle, with the letter "VR" intertwined. On one side are the numbers, 1837, and on the other are the numbers, 1897. At the bottom are the words :REG. . 60. . yrs. The back of the buckle is still intact, and it could adorn a belt today as well as it did in 1897. The buckle measures 2 and 5/8 inches North to South, and 2 and ...
