I was very lucky to find two such fine memorial rings on this shopping spree. They really are not that easy to find in good condition. This one has a foiled amethyst, flanked by a rose cut diamond on either side. The black enamel is in good condition, and it reads "Willm Rendee, ob 10 Oct 1772 AET 71. The ring is a size 8, and it can not be resized. The stones are foiled, and the ring has the lovely, closed, basket back. This one is a bargain!

This one is small but mighty. It is a portrait miniature, painted on ivory, of a young Contessa. We can tell this by the number of points on her coronet, or so I was told. It is gold and I suspect higher than the guaranteed 9 ct gold. It is fashioned into a dainty brooch which measures, including the coronet, 1 and 1/4 inches long, and 5/8 of an inch wide. It is in excellent condition, and is circa 1840.

I fell in love with this bracelet when I first saw it. There's something about the smoothness of 18 carat yellow gold, and this bracelet has 5 nice chains attached to a wonderful clasp with a beautiful emerald. The bracelet is a little over 7 and 1/2 inches long. The clasp measures 1 and 1/4 inches North to South, and 1 inch East to West. This is a wonderful piece of art that would compliment any wrist. The bracelet is circa 1870.

Here is a lovely Amethyst Pendant, 15 ct, with the beautiful cannetille gold work that I love. There are six amethysts surrounded by lovely gold. The chain, with barrel clasp, is much more recent, but I like the way it adapts to two different links. The chain can be 19 inches or 16 and 1/2 inches. This is a striking necklace that I knew I must buy the moment I saw it. It is a choker of natural pearls. Hanging from the pearls are thirteen citrines, beautifully faceted. This circa 1860 necklace is in its original box, from "J Morton, Jeweller, Dublin." The necklace measures 14 and 1/2 inches, counting only one end of the clasp. This is a lovely, 18 ct gold (unmarked but tested), locket and chain. I actually bought it in Paris, and it is art nouveau in style as so many items in Paris are. This lovely portrait miniature is set in an 18K brooch, with a mother-of-pearl back. It measures 2 and 1/8 X 2 and 1/2. It has the original pin, and there is no damage other than a small "ding" on the gold on the back which shows up in the picture. There is a very small patch of gray at the very end of the right hand corner which may or may not be a loss of paint; it is very minor and shows in the picture with a 6X zoom. This is a beautiful pendant, often called Lavalier, in the South, anyway! It is marked 9 ct, and contains three seed pears, and three stones which I believe to be almandine garnets, though they could possibly be paste. The gold work on this piece is very nice, and this is a very wearable piece of jewelry popular around the turn of the century. This is circa 1910.

This is a lovely and versatile Ruby and rose diamond band, circa 1900. It is 18 ct gold, and contains 4 rubies, and 4 rose cut diamonds. The ring is a size 6 and 1/2, but could be sized. The part of the band with the stones measures 1/2 inch East to West, and a little over 1/8 of inch North to South. This one really sparkles.

This is one of the prized memento mori rings--though with skulls and skeleton's, to remind us that "as I am, so shall ye be." This one is quiet unusual, in that, in addition to the wavy band, we have white enamel, signifying the deceased was a virgin. This is a wonderful watch key, featuring an intaglio in agate, of a dog that appears to be some sort of a retriever, and I could not get the letters exactly , but I am certain it is a form of Fidelity. This is a very interesting pendant. I am calling it mourning because of the urn, but I suppose it could well be a sentimental piece exchanged between loved ones. These are the first of these so called "pools of light" earrings I have ever had in my stock. They are circa 1850, and the beautiful crystal orbs are held with a chased band of 15 ct gold. These earrings will catch the light, and I love the fact that the band holding them is not plain , but has a shell effect. These earrings measure 1 and 1/4 inches North to South, and each orb is about 1/2 inch in diameter.

This is a wonderful, Roman ring which is in wonderful, wearable, condition. It's from the 1st century, and is a high carat gold--at least 18 ct. The front is etched with the likeness of a hair and a bunny, and the ring is size 7. As I said, the ring is in excellent condition, which is an amazing feat in itself. At its most wide point, this ring s a little less than 1 inch wide.It weighs 6.19 grams. I always buy early pieces like this, when I can find them.

This is a lovely ring, which caught my eye the moment I saw it. It is circa 1900-1910, and contains three cabochon rubies, surrounded by ruby baguettes and a diamond surround. the ring is a size 6 and 1/4, but it could be sized.
