Antique Doll

$250 USDAntique Doll

Dolls:Antique
A customer of mine brought this doll in that was given to her years ago by an elderly lady who she cleaned for when she was a young girl,. This lady is now in her 70's. The doll's body is leather except for her porcelain hands and head.. I can not find another doll like this to compare. It is 11" tall. There is a mark on her back - kind of looks like a crown with ribbons running down.. On one side it has JDK. I did find out that stands for Johann Daniel Kestner. I think the other side says ...

Ideal Ginger 18" hard plastic all original doll

$1,000 USDIdeal Ginger 18" hard plastic all original doll

Dolls:By Brand Names:Ideal:Shirley Temple
Perfect condition in original clothes. Clothes are not tagged but both hat and dress have that burlap like size tag that says 18. She has ball join arms (I think) and she is marked Ideal 18. She has flirty brown eyes and a mohair wig. My question is can she be Ginger even though she is not composition? Or who is she? I can't find her in any of my Ideal doll books.
Vintage Brooch Wire Work Stones

$500 USDVintage Brooch Wire Work Stones

Jewelry:Antique
Here is a vintage brooch that is gorgeous but also a bit of a mystery. There is wonderfully detailed wirework in a goldtone metal. There are stones set that may be genuine pearls and turquoises. In the center is a string of tiny beads held in various places by wire. They may also be the 'real' thing. The clasp on the back has a patent that was applied for in 1935 and issued in 1937. That may not help since the clasp looks to have been a replacement. Possible origins include Portugal, Middle East ...
Antique Silver Brooch w Red & Green Rhinestones & Fancy wire work

$125 USDAntique Silver Brooch w Red & Green Rhinestones & Fancy wire work

Jewelry:Antique:Antiques Jewelry, Brooch, Victorian, Silver & Rhinestone
This is a great rectangular silver? brooch with fancy twist wire fretwork inside, mixed with different size red and green rhinestones. The stones are set in a ridged frame. It has two chain swags with three teardrop rhinestones set in the same type frames. All the stones have a nice cut. It is about 1/4" thick. 2 1/2" by 1 1/2". excluding the swags. It has an open latch. The marks on the back are GD&Co. Also what looks like a clover with a crown in each leaf. Another mark is G7. All marks are ...
Brown Agateware Bowl

$50 USDBrown Agateware Bowl

Porcelain:By Maker Or Type:Agateware
Hello! Really hoping someone can help me out here........& thanx in advance for any info you can give me on this! This is a nice old swlrled/variegated bowl, rather heavy, it is approximately 5" across and stands 1-3/4" tall. Base is smooth and unmarked. There are no seams to this, and from my searching I almost think this might be considered agateware(?). The colors to this bowl are brown, dark brown, grey and cream. The interesting thing is that when you hold this up to the light, there are ...
Vintage Wedgwood Jasperware Dark Blue Pitcher

$120 USDVintage Wedgwood Jasperware Dark Blue Pitcher

Pottery:Wedgwood:Jasperware:Sacrifice:Blue:Cobalt:Pitcher
Here's a beautiful Dark Blue or Cobalt Wedgwood Jasperware milk pitcher. It's a bit large for a creamer, being 4 3/4 inches tall, so I am assuming it's intended use was for milk or water. The scene depicted in the relief is called "Sacrifices." I personally feel that the condition is excellent. The relief appears to be totally free of any damaged areas or repairs and the vessel itself is in outstanding condition as well. There are no chips or cracks and I see no signs of repairs. The inner glaze ...

Vintage 1948 Prestige Rhinestone Necklace & Earrings Set NEW In Original Box

$45 USDVintage 1948 Prestige Rhinestone Necklace & Earrings Set NEW In Original Box

Jewelry:Vintage:Costume
This is not my usual area of knowledge so I am calling on all the Jewelry experts out there. I found this set in its original box, still clipped down to the backing with the original tags still attached. I did research a little and the only info I found was that Prestige was a name used by Coro in 1948. I would like to verify that since I have not seen the Prestige brand marketed by anyone as if it were made by Coro. The pieces themselves do not appear to be marked. The set consist of a necklace ...

1800's Hudson Valley DeWitt Clinton Boutelle Oil/Pastel Painting

$3,400 USD1800's Hudson Valley DeWitt Clinton Boutelle Oil/Pastel Painting

Fine Art:Paintings
I looked all over the internet for information relating to this name, that was used to sign the painting. The only name that comes up, is referenced to this Hudson Valley painter, DeWitt Clinton Boutelle. Similarities in each painting's technique hinted to me this may be his. Without signing up at all these internet art/appraisal sites, all of which have membership fees, the only help I got, to what my painting could be worth, (if indeed it is a DeWitt Clinton piece) is a published auction at ...
3 Footed Small Porcelain Bowl Colonial Hand Painting

$150 USD3 Footed Small Porcelain Bowl Colonial Hand Painting

Antiques
I fell in love with the intricate detail on this little piece, but I have no idea what it was used for. The two men are dressed in colonial attire. The beetle, fly and flowers are hand painted and are in very good condition. There is some wear on the gold rim of paint on the upper edge. There is no rim, so I do not think there was a lid. Is the applied green supposed to be some sort of garland? Do you know marking on the bottom? It measures almost 4" from corner to corner. I would appreciate any ...
Victorian Enameled Bronze Frame With Hand Painted Portrait On Porcelain

$350 USDVictorian Enameled Bronze Frame With Hand Painted Portrait On Porcelain

Antiques:1800's Enameled Bronze Frame With Hand Painted Portrait
A BEAUTIFUL old item! Circa mid~later 1800's frame which I beleive to be bronze...It is quite heavy & has more of a reddish tint than I would imagine brass to have. The enamel work is lovely/very ornate....However as you can see there is a bit of damage to the top of the frame. From very top to very bottom the frame measures 9" and it is 4 3/4" across. The stand measures 4 7/8" in height. It does appear that at one point the right door had a small knob that has since been removed....The hand ...
Vintage 14K White Gold Hair Pin w/Chain

$78 USDVintage 14K White Gold Hair Pin w/Chain

Jewelry:Vintage:Gold
This piece is a mystery to me. It looks like a hair pin. It's marked 14K and is finely made. There a hole is the top of the "pin" and attached is a white gold 8 1/4" chain with a loop at the end where something can be attached. Is it for a bride? Or a chatelaine? Any help here is appreciated. It weighs about .5 gram and is in perfect condition.

Sailboat Quilt Feed Sack

$225 USDSailboat Quilt Feed Sack

Collectibles:Textiles
Is my description and pricing correct? This is an older quilt with a Sailboat design. It is 78" x 67". It appears to be machine sewn on the top with lots of hand stitching. Heavier style quilt with yellow backing (looks white in the photo, but closer to the yellow on the top). Overall excellent condition for its age. It seems close to perfect shape with no tears, stains, or major wear. This one has aged well. Price includes Shipping and Insurance!

$325 USDLimoges France Gold Rose Floral Dish w/ Pedestal Base Elite Works

Porcelain:By Maker Or Type:Limoges
I'M NOT CERTAIN WHAT THE FUNCTION OF THIS PIECE IS. IT SEEMS TOO SMALL TO BE A CAKE PLATE. ALSO, I'M NOT SURE WHAT IT SHOULD BE PRICED AT. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED. This beautiful floral Limoges pedestal dish is marked “Elite / L France “ in green. It also has a red Elite Works decoration mark (1896-1932). The hand painted detailing on this piece is exquisite. Is There Any Steiff Or Stuffed Animal Experts Out There

$575 USDIs There Any Steiff Or Stuffed Animal Experts Out There

Collectibles:Toys
I need help in identifying the maker on this cute little Pekingese dog stuffed animal. It is old, that I know for sure, but, was wondering if maybe it could be a very old Steiff, or, other maker? The ears have wire in them, the front legs have wire & the tail has wire. The nose, mouth & front paws are stitched. He has a lot of mohair loss. The muzzle & part of the top of the head is old felt, that most of the felt is gone. He is a very well made stuffed dog, which is stuffed with either straw or ...

$250 USDCeramic Sculpture by Michael Mick dated 1988

Collectibles:Decorative Arts
Hand made large sculpture signed by Michael Mick dated 1988 – (Michael died of cancer in 2002) - the piece is impressive and quite heavy. At first I was under the impression that it was a carved Geode stone but is a ceramic piece that is approximate 20 or so pounds, About 11” in diameter and 9 1/2” tall. Michael Mick is currently on permanent display at the Polk Museum of Art. I emailed the museum, but no answer as of yet with more information about the artist and where can I find more of his ...

Vintage Girl by Tree Stump Vase Figurine USA 5504A

$20 USDVintage Girl by Tree Stump Vase Figurine USA 5504A

Pottery
This unusual vintage figurine features a little girl in pink dress and bonnet posing by a hollow tree stump that functions as a bud vase? or cream pitcher? Anyone know the function and maker of this piece? There is crazing over the entire surface, and some glaze flecks missing on her sash and bow (flecks on dark burgundy glazed areas only). She stands 5 1/2" tall and measures 6" long. Estimated date of manufacture is 1940s. The circular mark is unreadable other than Made in USA, and the design ...
Fenton "Legend of Fashion" 1930s Evening Gown

$65 USDFenton "Legend of Fashion" 1930s Evening Gown

Glass:Fenton
This is not that old but or so collectible. I have 4 of the 5 "Legends of Fashion" and accidentally ordered 2 of these. It cost me $131 with shipping and handling. It has never been out of the original box except for these pictures. It is in pristine condition. The dress is an iridescent blue color and this one sits on her stand. It does not sit on a dowel rising up from the stand like the others do. If someone has the Poodle Skirt and would like to trade I would be interested. This figurine ...
Fabulous French Antique Silver, Turquoise /Marcasite Pin

$135 USDFabulous French Antique Silver, Turquoise /Marcasite Pin

Jewelry:Antique:Fine
This fabulous old glittering French silver pin is a real show stopper! It's bold and full of life, and oh, so collectible! The maker has created out of solid silver, two large swirls, rather like a double helix, which join together and glitter with sparkling marcasites and beautiful blue graduated turquoise glass cabochons. (The double helix reminds me of the amazing staircase built at the largest castle long the Loire Valley, Château de Chambord.) The combination of bright turquoise stones on ...
