WHAT'S THIS? I acquired this Lenci doll out of an estate that I purchased. I know absolutely nothing about dolls! In doing research on her I can find plenty on Lenci dolls, but nothing about this style. She has no legs. Someone told me that this type doll was to lay flat on your bed and store your PJ's in. I really could use some help. Does anyone know of a book or web site I could find info on this type Lenci doll and what she is worth?

This candy dish measures 11" tall and 8" wide. The finial and base look like sabino glass. The lid and base have a clear glass ruffle. On the lid there are gold decorations and a cameo set on a brass metal plaque. Would love to know when this was done and by what glass company.

Unusual clear glass bottle with screw cap-2 handles, 5 1/2" tall. I'm trying to determine if it is a perfume? or for some other substance.....Composite cap, nice waves in squatty bottom and in twisted neck. Note the interesting shape at top of neck. I'm stumped as to the maker of this small pitcher. The handle is shaped like a branch and the body looks like a burlap sack or woven basket. The only clue is the backstamp which is simply an impressed "E" which might stand for "Etruscan" from Griffin Smith Hill or "Etruria" the Staffordshire home of the Wedgwood factory or even their date stamp for 1861. These little implements are about 2-1/2 inches long and appear to be a spoon, some sort of tamper and a pointed object. These scissors have blades that resemble grape shears and are unique in that they have a third blade. The extra blade is riveted to the top blase of the scissors. They are approximately 5-3/4 inches long. They are beautifully decorated and I believe that they may be silver-plate. They are marked Germany on one side and D.Peres on the other. Basically it is a handpainted floral porcelain press with vice-like mechanism that includes porcelain balls that swirl around lowering and raising the press plate.
