Eve Arden (1912-1990) was a talented supporting actress in “Mildred Pierce” and television’s “Our Miss Brooks. She was also a Ziegfeld girl. Her career spanned 60 years in radio, film and stage. Two great pieces are offered here. A beautiful book signed photograph and a one-page autograph letter signed. She writes, one page, on plain stationery to a collector, responding to his letter: “…Hope you’ll be pleased to know that I’m at work on ‘Grease II’ and think it will be an improvement on ‘Grease I.’

“I took the liberty of replacing one of the pictures you sent (which I hated) with a more recent one (which I hope you’ll like!) Sincerely Eve Arden.

Two very fine pieces in excellent condition.
