SOLD Black Forest Hand Carved Box - Wolf in Forest

I am pleased to offer this estate piece for your consideration. It is a Black Forest wood carved box with a a scene of a wolf in a forest. The carving is very well done. I do not know how old it is. It looks to me like the top carving was done separately and added to the box and then the side work was done. You can see this by looking at the side view of the box. It measures about 10 1/2" x 6 3/4" and is about 2 1/2" deep. It is in excellent condition and very clean inside. This comes from a non-smoking home.
