Lucite Chain with Applejuice Bakelite Dangles Necklace

This is a great looking necklace with its lucite chain and 9 large chunks of applejuice bakelite. I am calling them applejuice but I am not 100% certain of that. The color is amazing. The necklace chain is about 19" long and the discs are about 1" long x 7/8" wide and 1/4" thick. The dangles are bakelite but they do not test. The reason is that the woman who owned this necklace cleaned the discs. Once you remove the old patina from bakelite it takes a while for it to build up again. It is the patina which allows the bakelite to test. I have checked this with several experts on bakelite jewelry. They all agree. Even though the pieces don't test I guarantee them to be genuine, old bakelite. You will love the look of this necklace and it is in excellent condition.
