This is a lovely ring. The setting is sterling with a rope design around the stone and two charming flowers - one on each side of the stone. The stone is a jelly opal. It is possible that it is glass made to resemble opals but it also may be real. The stone measures a little over 3/4" front to back and ring is a size 4 1/2. It is in excellent condition. I have not cleaned it but you can polish it to a high shine if you wish.
