LaMode Sweetheart Expansion Bracelet - Lovely

This is one of those famous sweetheart expansion bracelets. They have been in production since late Victorian times. This one is probably from the 1940's. It has the heart shape with some delicate engraving on the inside of it and a cartouche for you to add your initials if you wish. Bracelet is in excellent condition. Every other link has an embossed design. It is signed LaMode and Precious Metal. I am not quite sure what that means. I would say that at the very least it is heavily gold plated. It will expand to fit most wrists up to a size 7 and perhaps a little larger. The links are tight and this is just the way I like to find these bracelets.
