Superb Panetta Necklace - Classic Design - Book Piece

This superb necklace is another of those which came from an estate. The woman owned a chi-chi boutique in New York City in the 1980's. So this necklace is new old stock and has never been worn. Panetta jewelry is of the highest quality and construction. The best of materials were used and the necklace is heavily plated, giving it the look of real gold. This is a classic design with a deco look. There is a large sapphire blue rhinestone in the center and pave set rhinestones in the center cartouche and along the chain. It is signed Panetta and has a safety clasp. Chain measures about 15 1/2" long and the center is 1 1/8" square. This necklace is in new condition. This is a very special piece that you will treasure for many years to come. It is elegant and sophisticated - a truly wonderful bit of jewelry.
