Czech Portrait Necklace, Enameling - Fab Chain

This necklace has it all beginning with the wonderful Art Deco chain with embossed designs on the rings and lamp-work beads. The pendant has a portrait in the center. It is surrounded by enameled squares and faux pearls. Bringing the two parts together is a superb bale with a small faux pearl in the center and more enameling. This necklace dates from the 1920's or '30's and is in excellent condition with one faux pearl having lost some of its luster. You can see, if you look closely that near the clasp of the chain one of the rings has been replaced by a small flower. It is the same period as the necklace and, I think, quite charming. Chain is about 19" long and the pendant including the bale is just under 2 3/4" long and pendant is 1 3/4" across. Aside from the two small blemishes this necklace is in excellent condition. It is, after all, eighty or ninety years old!
