This is a nice pair of Language of Flowers plates produced by Southern Potteries. The top of each plate says "The sweet language of flowers" in French. The plate with the two pink flowers says "I am not so quick to trust" in French at the bottom. That plate has age crazing and some light discoloration. The other plate says "You are exquisite" at the bottom and has age crazing. The age crazing is common in these plates. I don't see any chips or cracks. Each plate is about 8 1/4" across and both are marked PV on the underside. If Blue Ridge is your passion the plates in this series are fun to collect.
