This is a gorgeous vintage hand crocheted bedspread. The pattern is a pinwheel with some popcorn accents. It has a wide fringe around three sides. About twenty years ago I decided that I was going to make one of these and priced the thread. At that time it would have cost me over a hundred dollars for the thread alone. To make a long story short - I didn't do it. This one is exceptionally nice and very well made. It measures about 83" wide including the fringe and 88" top to bottom including the fringe. You can use it with a colored sheet underneath and some bits of the color will show through. This will fit a double size bed with a dust ruffle. It may even fit a queen size - you would have to measure. It is in excellent condition and a nice creamy white.
