Romantic Era Victorian 9K Yellow Gold & Sterling Engraved Belt Buckle

A very handsome circa 1850 - 1860 tested 9K Yellow Gold and Sterling Silver applied to heavy brass Belt Buckle. The sterling center slide is engraved with the letters A G, while the foliate engraved receiver is in yellow gold. In proper working order, this fine piece measures two and one quarter inches long by one and one half inch wide. In excellent antique condition, it was most likely made for a gentleman, but it would be very appropriate for a lady as well.
