Manos’ work reflects her travels while at the same time exploring the formal issues of her mediums of monotype, oil, and pastel. She is active in Tampa, Florida, where she maintains a studio in the West Tampa Center for the Arts.
Lynn Manos is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a BFA in Fashion Illustration and Design, and earned her MA in Printmaking from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Manos continues her education through workshops in Italy and Greece. In 2006 she completed a residency at Skopart on Skopelos, Greece funded by a Lighton International Artists Exchange grant and returned this year for a second residency. Before moving to Tampa she was a teacher in the Kansas City area for 30 years and served as an adjunct instructor at the Kansas City Art Institute.
