Number seventeen in a series titled "Fifty-One Italian Dinghies" by American Artist Lynn Manos. This series is representational and expressionistic depicting small colorful wooden boats and their reflections with the fluidity of the water as the main subject. This piece measures eighteen and one half inches square and is a Single Print Monotype that is both vibrant and harmonious.

Manos’ work reflects her travels while at the same time exploring the formal issues of her mediums of monotype, oil, and pastel. She is active in Tampa, Florida, where she maintains a studio in the West Tampa Center for the Arts.

Lynn Manos is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a BFA in Fashion Illustration and Design, and earned her MA in Printmaking from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Manos continues her education through workshops in Italy and Greece. In 2006 she completed a residency at Skopart on Skopelos, Greece funded by a Lighton International Artists Exchange grant and returned this year for a second residency. Before moving to Tampa she was a teacher in the Kansas City area for 30 years and served as an adjunct instructor at the Kansas City Art Institute.
