Being offered is an Art Nouveau circa 1880 - 1900 Metal and Pressed Glass Covered Pin Box. A beautiful example of the period the lid shows a floral spay of pansies perfectly fitted to an elegant pressed glass casket that measures four inches long by two inches wide. With the top in place this lovely vanity item is three inches high including the handle. Once cold painted there are some remnants of yellow that are much more pronounced in the photos than when displayed. Also of note a pin head hole at the base of the handle that is only detectable when held up to the light. The glass is perfect, in mint antique condition.
