This striking bow contains a total of 22 baguettes & 47 round single cut diamonds. They have been mounted in a wonderful stylized bow of cast platinum. Diamonds appear to be all original to mounting. Look at the beautiful, graceful curves making this mounting three dimensional. Mounting has only a makers hallmark but has been tested & is platinum. The lovely chain has 4 collar mounted diamonds (2 each side) approx 3/4" & 1 1/2" away from bow. The platinum chain is old & true to period. The clasp has been replaced with a 14kt white gold clasp. Clasp has a faint, still readable mark of 585=European mark for 14kt. The bow is 1 1/2" tall x 1 1/2" at widest point x almost 3/8" at deepest point. When chain is stretched out straight (across chain-across top of mount-across chain) it measures 16". A wonderful necklace for evening wear or a sleek stylish wedding dress. Circa 1930-40 late Deco to early Retro.
