Lovely Enamel & Gilt Patterned Compact

This circa 1925 compact has a lot going on inside & out! It's exterior has lovely pattern work in the base metal on it's top, back & sides. Then it has black & white enamel work of flowers thru out the top with an accent of an enamel applied floral plaque. The enamel plaque is in excellent condition. The black & white enamel is in excellent condition on the center flowers. The rim border flowers are approx 1/16" big & are missing some enamel which may be original to the compact because it appears to have never been used. The gilt is in outstanding condition, there is lite even wear to rims. It's braided fabric handle is intact & original to compact. Compacts hinge & closure are intact & tight. The interior on this is great!. It has a spot for powder & rouge packs. It's original lipstick tube is here & still working properly. It's mirror is intact & is just starting to get age specks. You can then lift the mirror & there is a compartment for - calling cards? There is no rouge puff, the powder puff fits well & appears unused.
