Circa 1925 Patterned Chrome Enamel Accented Compact

This chrome compact has a lot going on! The top of it's front & entire backside is striped. The front has a 2 tone, floral patterned, ridged circle that is accented with an applied enamel hand painted disk. The side rims also have a pattern cast into the metal. All the exterior chrome is in excellent condition! There are no dents, rips or repairs-anything you see is a reflection! The backside does show some less then normal surface scratching & has an engraved VY on it. The enamel disk has no cracks, chips, restoration. The hinge is intact & compact closes with a firm click. The chain handle appears to be original as it is a correct style chain of that period. The interior gold plate is in excellent condition. Compact has original lipstick tube & rouge puff. The powder puff is a replacement. All interior movable parts are in working order. The mirror appears to be original & has no cracks or chips. It is starting to age spot. We find no makers marks but this was a top quality chrome compact in it's day. Hanging it is 8 1/2" long. The actual compact minus closure & chain is 3" tall x 2 1/2 wide x 3/8" deep.
