Yes, this 1942 Schrager butterfly brooch is HUGE, 3-3/4" X 3". No missing rhinestones, no black or darkened rhinestones. When held up to a light bulb, a bit of foil marring shows on the faceted point of the rhinestone back. Those smoky colored oval rhinestones are frequently replaced with emerald green, red, or purple. This unsigned pave bow book piece was made by Hattie Carnegie. This item is in the book "Collecting Costume Jewelry 101." Right in the center in the back where the bow knots, it looks like there may have been a little plaque attached with the signature. The brooch is 2-3/4" across and 3-1/4" tall. Take a look. All rhinestones are in place. This brooch needs a good cleaning, but I am going to leave this to the new owner. Very good condition.
