Radishes are such a cheerful little veggie! They are bright red, round and rather jolly. I really like the liveliness of their leaves and the energy and movement of their roots. I placed these red and green beauties on a white plate so they could really show off. This is part of the “Painting A Day” series I am doing between more complex and detailed paintings. These paintings are smaller, more spontaneous and must be painted in one day (my rule). They are intended to hone my skills by forcing me to capture the essence of the scene as quickly and simply as possible. Enjoy.
