SALE Vintage REBAJES Copper and Spattered Blue Enamel Bracelet Circa 1950

This is a terrific vintage copper and enamel bracelet by Francisco Rebajes, the great early master of Modernist jewelry. It features four big copper links that are each surmounted with framed enamel squares. The sky blue enamel is spattered with rusty red, cobalt blue, and dark green spots reminiscent of Jackson Pollack's abstract expressions which were so avant garde and controversial at the time • Circa 1950 • Fastens with a fold-over clasp.

• SIZE: 1 1/4 inch wide X 7 inches long.

• CONDITION: Very Good to Excellent, with the typical faint, minor scratches on the outer surface of the copper links. There is one tiny chip in the enamel at the edge of both inner squares. These can be seen in the photographs. They measure 1/16 inch, at most. They do not detract from the overall great appearance of the bracelet.

• SIGNED: "REBAJES" on the back of the fold-over clasp and on the back of the end link supporting the fold-over clasp.
